I know that Apple should just bite the bullet and package a Mozilla
based browser with their OS, but I'd really like to see some mods in the
javascript of rico (or prototype.js, not sure which one is the problem)
that work on safari.

I really don't want to package anything in Rico 2.0 that does not work
with the latest version of Safari. So, this is hot on my list.

I don't have access to a Mac, but my latest (modified) version of Rico
supports LiveGrid and Accordian on Konqueror, which should bode well for
Safari compatibility. You can find it at:

My boss and I just tried it on his Mac. It seems to work great based on
a quick test of the various features. We plan on testing more
thoroughly in the near future. We will post the results of our testing
here. So far so good! :-)

I just realized that my last post is ambiguous - we tested the modified
version created by Matt Brown.

I broke down and bought a iBook on eBay -- running 10.4.6. I will be
doing some testing in the next week to ensure my next release is Safari
compatible.

BTW, my next release will include client-side forms and post-backs to
the database. I have the basics working. Just needs some polish.

Cheers,

Matt

Hi,

Drag and Drop does not work with <textarea> or <input type="textfield">.
It's funny: it eats the draggable object. :)

I hope you guys figure this out. Rico and prototype.js are way cool.

Cheers,
Luke
